A statement sweater is a sweater with personality. If I could, I would wear sweaters everyday, yes, even when living in the tropics. So much so that a drop of rain or a slight temperature change in Manila, I’m all over my fluffy pullovers! I wish the Philippines had cooler weather just like Taiwan. During my last visit to the Calla Lily Farm in Yangmingshan, the weather was around 19°C and it was just the right temperature for layering. I feel that my “No Thanks” sweater gave my outfit a sassy vibe paired with my gingham shorts and black opaque stocking (best combo for transitional dressing—from warm to cold)

Picking flowers in a foggy setting was a dream. Everyone in our tour group enjoyed the botanical beauty of the mountains which also meant relentless photo ops (my mom and me included haha).  Someone even suggested that I should do a pose-off with my mom to which I replied with a smile and opened my blazer to reveal the answer without saying a word 😉
