I stayed in Hong Kong for six days during the APEC summit in the Philippines. When in Hong Kong, going to Sasa is a must. There are so many branches, I’m pretty sure you can hold your breath from store to store. I must have visited Sasa everyday just to take a look at their wide selection of beauty products and I couldn’t help but get myself a few goodies. Check out my haul:
Creer Beaute – Cardcaptor Sakura Special Set: Blush + Lip Balm
How cute is this blush & lipbalm Cardcaptor Sakura box set?? I remember watching Cardcaptor Sakura when I was a kid and totally gushing over her super cute costumes every time she’d transform. I couldn’t not get this! I love how the cheek blush is a Clow Card Book and the lip balm is her Magic Sealing Wand and is sakura-flavored too, omg. This is totally reawakening my inner magical girl ahhh! I love it when make up is super playful, cute, fun (and pink, hehe)!
Creer Beaute – Miracle Romance: Sailor Moon Stick Liquid Eyeliner (Black) (Limited Edition)
Obviously, I haven’t outgrown my love for certain animes, most especially Sailor Moon. I have this thing for ordinary girls transforming into cute, butt-kicking heroes. This is a total collector’s dream! Also, I like pink and kawaii cosmetics… Again, this eyeliner has a cap that looks like Sailor Chibi Moon’s Pink Moon Stick. The brush is ultra fine for precise application, is water proof, smudge proof, and easy to remove (perf)!!
Fairy Drops Platinum Mascara
This was a recommendation by a friend and she swears by it. I’ve heard about this brand before and apparently, it’s suuuper popular among beauty buffs. I had to visit about five different Sasa’s until I finally found this (with only one box left to spare!) The unique mascara wand gives you doll-like eyes which is what I love. Not only that, this particular mascara is also waterproof (yay)! I prefer when the mascara doesn’t dry up my lashes and look brittle and Fairy Drops gives this full yet natural look to my eyelashes.
Batsiste Floral and Flirty Blush Dry Shampoo
Ever since I’ve discovered dry shampoo, I’ve been obsessed with it. Living in the tropics can get ones hair greasy and it’s a major no-no. Dry shampoo does just the trick. I love the pink container and the fresh, floral scent. This dry shampoo makes my hair feel less oily and doesn’t leave much white residue in my hair after spraying compared to others. I usually use it in the afternoon when my hair needs perking up. I just spray a bit of dry shampoo in my hair then style it to give my tresses more volume.
